We are delighted to welcome back Dr Crittenden whose presentations at IFT in 2007 and 2008 were so well received. This 5-day course introduces the Dynamic-Maturational Model (DMM) of attachment and adaptation and ties it to risk assessment and treatment.

Children in Adversity

23rd and 24th of April

In today's Britain childhood itself has become a highly stressful experience. A number of recent reports (CAHMS Review 2008) (Children's Society 2009) have highlighted a range of issues contributing to the stress of family life for children.

This two day conference brings together speakers and workshop presenters who are leader in their fields, and aims to examine a number of contexts in which children's lives can be improved and their families supported.

Speakers include Dr Patricia Crittenden, Dr Arlene Vetere, Jacqueline Walker, Professor Peter Stratton, and Gill Gorell Barnes.

Workshop presenters include: Dr Sharon Bond, Dr Elaine Arnold, and Damian McCann.
