Solution focused brief therapy - introductory10th June and 6th July - two linked workshops
This experiential and practice based workshop will provide a sound framework for understanding and using SFBT with clients in various settings.
This course will develop an understanding of the solution focused approach and the practice skills needed to apply it. It will support practitioners in helping clients to define achievable goals, set tasks to build client autonomy and measure progress. The workshop will also explore the various available options when practitioners feel stuck or experience setbacks in the work with clients.
Presenter: Barry Winbolt is Chair of Conflict Resolution courses at IFT and Head of Training and Clinical Development at PPC Worldwide. A regular presenter at international conferences, author, systemic therapist and mediator, he is an established trainer in Solution Focused Brief Therapy Anger Mangement, Conflict Resolution, and Therapeutic Communications.
